Ever noticed the fountain at Seattle Center that is strangely reminiscent of a flushing toilet?

"Encircled Stream" summer of 2010..

Well it is one of an artwork series done using natural elements, designed  to illustrate how amazing our mother earth really is.  This fountain was created by Ned Kahn and it’s  called "Encircled Stream".  Encircled Stream represents how Washington state's landscape was carved from repeated floods over time!

Encircled Stream is located in Founder's Court, which is in between the Intiman Theatre and the Exhibition Hall.  If you have never seen it and you live in the area, check it out next time you are at the center for a concert or play!  If you don't live around here you can see a video on the artist's website which can be found by clicking HERE!
